Kershaw County GOP Chairman Amanda Outen:
The KCGOP Chairman not only doesn't follow rules, but she makes up rules and rules against motions that don't align with her agenda; often preventing the will of the majority of those elected to represent their precincts. During a debate over the rules, the chairman suddenly called the meeting adjourned (which is not in her authority to do) and gave everyone 5 minutes to vacate the buidling. Her 1st Vice Chair then called 911.
The Kershaw County GOP Chairman is a loyal supporter of SCGOP Chairman Drew McKissick and has supported him every time he has violated the rules and all of the other things listed to the right. In fact, she serves on his Rules Committee and convinced them to violate a clear rule to allow her more votes in her County Executive Committee. As a member of the SCGOP Executive Committee, she recenlty spoke in favor of disenfranchising precincts in 14 counties during the Reorganization process.
SCGOP Chairman Drew McKissick:
When the KCGOP State Committeeman challenged Chairman McKissick in a SCGOP Executive Committee as to why the bill he was pushing to close primaries included the "unaffiliated" category (a loophole to allow Democrats to vote in Republican Primaries), his reply was shocking. Despite the Republican supermajorities in the House and Senate he had just bragged about, he said, "We had to compromise."
