Republican Party Leadership must change from the bottom up!

Kershaw County GOP Chairman Amanda Outen:

  • fought against censuring Senator Penry Gustafson for her votes against pro-life legislation (she even attempted to undermine the censure by adding commentary prohibited of a chairman);
  • fought against holding Republican elected officials accountable to the Party platform;
  • fought against vetting and endorsing the most conservative candidates in the Primaries;
  • fought against investigating local election integrity and allowed the committee to be disbanned prior to its ability to report its findings;
  • fought against open and transparent auditing and reporting of finances and allowed the committee to be disbanned prior to its ability to report its findings;
  • allowed censorship of the duly elected State Committeeman by kicking her out of meetings, and
  • refuses to follow the Party's own rules.

The KCGOP Chairman not only doesn't follow rules, but she makes up rules and rules against motions that don't align with her agenda; often preventing the will of the majority of those elected to represent their precincts. During a debate over the rules, the chairman suddenly called the meeting adjourned (which is not in her authority to do) and gave everyone 5 minutes to vacate the buidling. Her 1st Vice Chair then called 911.

The Kershaw County GOP Chairman is a loyal supporter of SCGOP Chairman Drew McKissick and has supported him every time he has violated the rules and all of the other things listed to the right. In fact, she serves on his Rules Committee and convinced them to violate a clear rule to allow her more votes in her County Executive Committee. As a member of the SCGOP Executive Committee, she recenlty spoke in favor of disenfranchising precincts in 14 counties during the Reorganization process.

SCGOP Chairman Drew McKissick:

  • regularly violates SCGOP Party rules;
  • is not transparent with the Executive Committee about GOP finances;
  • refuses to hold Republican officials accountable to the Party's own Platform;
  • meddles in county reorganization in an attempt to control delegates to the State Convention (to protect his seat);
  • protects RINOs;
  • protects Open Primaries (allowing Democrats to vote in Republican Primaries);
  • supports Loyalty Oaths (pledging to never say anything bad about another Republican),
  • censors and censures those who oppose him and kicks them out of meetings,
  • FOUGHT TRUMPS PICKS FOR RNC COMMITTEES, and
  • disenfranchised thousands of MAGA supporters by leaving them out of the reorganizaton process so they cannot influence the State Convention (once again violating the rules).

When the KCGOP State Committeeman challenged Chairman McKissick in a SCGOP Executive Committee as to why the bill he was pushing to close primaries included the "unaffiliated" category (a loophole to allow Democrats to vote in Republican Primaries), his reply was shocking. Despite the Republican supermajorities in the House and Senate he had just bragged about, he said, "We had to compromise."
